Recently, Pro Football Network Writer, Dakota Randall, wrote an article predicting the records of all 32 NFL teams in 2024 and who would win the Super Bowl. So naturally, you would think they would have the Washington Commanders going undefeated and winning the Super Bowl, right?

Obviously, I’m just kidding but you would expect them to predict the Commander’s record to be at least respectable. Well, it’s not. Pro Football Network predicts the Washington Commander’s record in 2024 to be 2-15, which would land them the # 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.
I’ll be the first one to tell you that last year didn’t go as expected. However, it’s puzzling to me how the Commanders brought on board more than 20 free agents, including players such as Austin Ekeler, Bobby Wagner, Frankie Luvu, and Tyler Biadasz, drafted a Heisman winning quarterback, Jayden Daniels, appointed a bona fide General Manager, Adam Peters, and hired a competent Head Coach, Dan Quinn, and they are going to be worse? Did Pro Football Network forget how bad the Carolina Panthers are?
It's in moments like these where you realize who does and does not watch certain teams play. Because there’s no way that the Commanders are going to be worse this year than they were last year. The Commanders have the 17th hardest schedule in 2024. They had the 6th hardest schedule in 2023, not to mention a head coach who had checked out, and the worst defense in the NFL. This team is better constructed and there is a new leadership and physicality mindset in the building. They may not make the playoffs this year, but they will for sure win more than 2 games.
