Family Field Day Inside the Commander's Bubble

First off, I’m still a little bummed that this didn’t happen at FedEx Field like it was supposed to. Nevertheless, field day was a blast. In the words of my 6-year-old, “this was better than Chuck E Cheese!” The whole day was, in typical fashion, very well organized and staffed. Parking was plentiful and there was wonderful cheery staff to direct us to the bubble. Upon entrance to the bubble the staff were very kind and inviting, getting us checked in.

Once we were all signed in, we were off! They had lots of different activities for us, and we had free rein. Picture NFL combine meets elementary school field day. They had everything from the 40 yd dash to route running. If that wasn’t your speed, there were footballs available to just toss around and play catch.

We had the most fun running routes and catching touchdowns. But much like everything my husband and I do, it turned into a competition. We took turns running the 40 yd dash, I definitely lost and I might’ve even been slower than my 6 yr old, yikes! In the end, we were all laughing, sore, and sad to leave. On the way out we were sent off with water, Gatorade, and a fairly wide array of snacks to refuel.

Overall, I count this as another awesome perk to season ticket life. Next up, trick-or-treating around the stadium this coming weekend. I can’t wait to tell y’all about that too, so be on the lookout to hear about a (hopefully) spooky good time!
